Hello, everyone..Well I'm here...WOW..it has been a long week..:) I have to say it has been hard...just getting use to everything..I had a few really hard days after I got home...every emotional, and I was hungry...nothing took the desire away and let me tell you I was way on the pitty potty road....every day is getting better and everyday I feel stronger and more confident...at times I just can not believe it is all over.....I would not have been as strong and comfortable with out all your support and love...thank you so much, you are all so amazing and I am happy to call myself family....HUGS, Shelly

Hi Shelly! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Soft hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ - Lap RNY, 12/09/03

Hi Shelly, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Nerves can do that to you. Keep it postive. That means only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true. All the best,
