"3/24/01 I have not met Dr Herron yet, but I have emailed him several times with some questions. He always replies within 24 hours and has been very helpful so far. I am looking forward to meeting him at my consultation.
5/3/01 I had my consultation with Dr Herron today. He explained the BPD/DS procedure that I want very thoroughly. He answered many questions without me even asking them. He made sure he addressed the greater risks of this surgery compared to the RNY.
I have more to say about Dr Herron in my regular write-up.
10/10/02 Well it has been over a year since my surgery. I want to say that Dr Herron was great and I really liked him for my surgeon. I wish I were a little closer to NYC so I could go to their support meetings at Mt Sinai."
