I went for my first fill today, I was feeling pretty good about it until the doctor told me there was a problem. I was afraid to ask because every surgergy that I have ever had there has been a problem. He said that my port had flipped around, which he and the x-ray tech were both surprised they said that this would go down in the record books. Great, just what I needed, he doesn't know how this could of happened. I have to get surgery on Monday to correct this. I am very nervous, but even with this set back I have no regrets. I still believe I made the right decision to have lap band surgery and would recommend it . I am downn 31 pounds since May, and Doc reassured me that everything will get back on track.

I had my first check up and weigh in today. Everything was amazingly great I lost 18 pounds. I stopped by work to tell everyone, the compliments and support was so uplifting especially after a rough first week. As everyone on here says it only gets better and today was definate proof of that.Thanks to everyone on this site for all the great words of wisdom and support
