This morning i finally made it into the 170's! OHHHH Yea! So the only thing i really have issues eating is chicken that is too dry. I still weigh my food to measure out my 4 oz. I have not hit the gym in like 3 weeks ( i know its horrible) I need to get back on it. But over all im still excited and pleased with the reslults so far. I can tell a huge difference in my clothes. Until next update!!!

Yeah i finally made it to the 100's a few days ago. Today i am 3 weeks out and on soft foods but im still not able to tolerate my protein shakes sooo i think im gonna try one tomorrow b/c im not getting in enough protein. I'll post a new pic next week.

Ok soo since yesterday i have really been suffering with gas pains. Iam walking and taking exlax but it dosent really seam to be working. I also forgot to mention that i came home from the hosp weighting a 6lbs more than when i went im. I guess im not really tripping with it cuz the slower i loose the weight the easier it will be for my body to play catch up with the elasticity in my skin.
Soooo im just waitin to start feeling better.

Sooo I must say that God is good and awesome!!! I am soooo blessed yall and i am greatfull that i came out of surgery with no issues and no problems. i must say that tryin to get in these liquids and its a challenge and a half!! I could have went home last night but i wanted to stay an extra night to make sure i could get the exta liquids from the iv and it worked i came home 6lbs heavier than when i went in lol Oh well im gonna try my best to get these liquids in.
Ohhh my wls angel Apryl and her mom Ms. Gerri came by to see me on my second day in the hospital and were very informative and just really brightened my day by letting me know there are still plenty of people out there that are complete strangers that are caring and willing to share their time to let me know everything will be alright. I just hope i can be a ray of sunshine for someone like they were for me

Soooo i just finished taking my magnesium citrate and the taste was not bad at all. So now im done packing my bag for tomorrow and just sent a txt out to Edie who just had surg today and will be one of my wls buddies and hopefully  we can see each other tomorrow since we are having our surg by the same dr at the same hosp. Sooo im a night owl on a regular basis i hope im able to sleep tonight (although i seriously doubt it) Ok im back thats stuff works really quick. So im just soo glad and thankful that the day is almost here and its like im ready for it to be overwith and done. So lord willing i will be one of the loosers on the looser bench!!!! Oh Yea!!

i wouldnt mind weighing 130lbs only 8lbs more than predicted by this chart.

Sooo i was supposed to start my liquid diet yesterday when i came back from my pre-op apt......yea that didnt happen so now i have to reluctantly start today. So all of my testing went well yesterday the only thing im still worried about is the insurance telling me at the last minute that i have to pay my 20% co-deductible before they will do my procedure! I really hope the dont call me. Oh I met a really nice girl that is goin in the day before i am and we exchanged numbers cuz we are gonna be surg buddies yeaaaa!! Im sooo glad i found someone to go through this with and its a definite plus that we live on the same side of town.

I got my surg date yesterday and i tried to post it but my computer acts stupid all the time so when i was done writing my post it froze on me ughhh! So.... enough of that im just really excited now. I went to gnc today and got my protien powder and i hope it tastes ok cuz i bought the 7.5 bucket of low carb isopure in dutch chocolate. OHH my surg date is officially Sept 23rd. I found out that i need to come up with $390 to pay my surgeon 2 weeks before surg, i had no clue so im hoping that all pans out. ok thats all for now i just hope this surg is successful for me.

I got approved today Yayyyyyy!!!! Now all i need is my surg date.

Hi OH,
I finished my last nutrition class on Aug 18th as planned. So i had to wait a couple of days for methodist to get my completed nutrition paperwork to dr garth's office. This morning Tomeka (bariatric ins coordinator) called me and asked what facility i wanted to have my procedure done at so..... yea im one step closer!!! Now im waitin on my case mgr to call me when she gets all the info she needs to process my case... YEAAAAAA!!!!!!
