It's official...over the weekend I am now down 100 lbs!!! In just under 7 months!! I'm OVER THE MOON!!!!  I still have more weight to lose to get to goal, but I am super excited to have finally hit this milestone!!  Having this surgery was the very best thing I've EVER done for myself!!      

 I had my RNY surgery on June 19th and it went very well...much better than I had mentally prepared myself for.  I am very happy with the decision I made to have this done.  I see this process as a gift and a new chance at living the life I've always wanted to live.  I'm looking forward to the journey and seeing the progress/changes that lay ahead.  There have been challenges and I know there will continue to be more along the way, but that's what makes it so worthwhile.  This was the very best decision I have ever made...to do something for me.  I am at the beginning of the journey and I have a long, winding road ahead, but from what I'm seeing so far, the view is going to be spectacular along the way!
