I am 5"2" and now weigh 290lbs with a BMI of 53. I have numerous medical conditions, I am insulin resistant, have poly cystic ovarian syndrome, metabolic syndrome, Diabetes, asthma, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, the list goes on and on. I feel ashamed as I can barely walk now or stand for too long I have Multiple Sclerosis as well. I feel as if I could die any moment and every day I am still here is a blessing. It all started when I got the poly cystic ovarian syndrome, I was never over weight until then and have spent years and years battling my weight, one step forward 2 steps back. it is a vicious cycle I am sure your all familiar with.
The choice between life or death has now movitated me to take this final choice of WLS.
