So far...

Ok, thought I'd post an update since the last one was just after my surgery.
My surgery was a breeze with no complications. I also had no problems pre-op either. Pain was bearable 3 days after surgery, which meant no meds needed. I took a month off work just to get use to everything but it wasn't really needed. It took about 8 fills to get to the green zone to where I'm not hungry or snacking between meals and small portions fill me up. It's been almost 10 months and I'm loosing steadily (at the rate I'm comfortable with). I feel this was a great decision on my part. I wanted to loose the weight but not too fast as to be unhealthy or to where there was going to be an excess of
loose skin. I think that worry is what held me back so long from going through with the surgery sooner. I have surpassed some of the goals I have set so far and am in the process of reaching others. I feel more healthy, I'm eating healthier and I'm more active than I was previously. I couldn't be happier.Yes!!!

Finally. After a very long and nerve racking wait, I got the call that changed the rest of my life. Yes it took this long. Apparently there was some paperwork that was missing that was required before the submission was completed.
And Now I Wait...

I'm still in the pre-op phase right now but I'm hoping that changes shortly. All my information has finally been sent to my insurance for approval . I'm so excited and anxious right now waiting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything comes back OK and that no additional information is needed.
