I grew up in a small town, where everyone knows your name, well atleast knew our name. I've always had the dream of becoming a teacher, and knew someday I would complete that dream. I graduated High School with Honors, and was excepted to Morehead State University where I study Learning and Behavior Disablitites K-12, and middle grades Science. I met both my best friend/roommate, and my fiance'. Jeremy is a senior at MSU and is studying to be a Respritory Therapist. We met my freshman year and were engaged a year later, however we are waiting as long as we can to get married so that we can finish school, somedays it's harder than others though, we just want to get on with our lives. I am extremely close to my cousin Emily and miss her more than anything. My reason for teaching came from my brother and hero Nick, who is two years younger than me. Nick has been through more in his lifetime that the average person and makes life fun! I'm proud of both my parents for sticking through everything, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when is was 15 and it was a struggle. I look at my parents relationship and pray that I can be that successful with all my own. They really are my strength in life. My reason for joining this particular website is that I am interested in the lap ban surgery, but need advice. My mother had it and we both are scared that this might not be the right thing for this time in my life, being that I'm so busy with college. However, I plan to get married in two years, and want to look beautiful, I don't "feel" beautiful when I look like this. I also want to be in the best shape so that I can someday raise a healthy family of my own. Children are very important to me... I always said that if I could never be a teacher, the only other career for me is to be a mommy. I don't want my stupid weight to prevent that.... so that's my story...
