UGH!

Sep 21, 2010

Well I now have put myself in some pain. I want to say before I go any further, that after surgery I was in a tremendous amount of pain. Many people have told me that the next day they were shopping, this was not the case for me. I could barely move for a week and a half and found out that a few days after I got home I was allergic to Lortab, when I called the dr's office to let them know, they told me to only take tylenol... The pain on some days was sever and others it was minimal. On my 2 week appt I did refuse any pain meds because I dont like taking them.As of yesterday I was doing wonderful, Now I wish I had taken him up on his offer.

The story goes like this, I suffered an asthma attack late last night. I always keep my inhaler on my night stand for easy access. Well last night as I twisted my body and attempted to roll over to retrieve this inhaler, I felt this HORRIBLE pain in my abdomin. It was a stabbing pain and would not go away. I finally fell back asleep and of course as I woke to get the kids to school, I felt horrible, pain and nausea. Why did I twist this way, I have no flippin clue just know I needed my medicine.
So later this morning I get a call for my oldest sons school to come and pick him up. As I get into my van, I feel it again, I must have twisted or something, I dont know but I had tears in my eyes.
I have a call in to my surgeons office but I cant guarantee they will get back to me in a timely manner, gotta love the military. Until then, I am sitting on my a$$ and doing absolutely nothing. I will walk to the bus stop to get my son just to see how it goes, other than that, NOTHING!
