Hi Marilyn, Just saw your post and sorry to hear that you had a rough beginning following your surgery. Sounds like now you are on the mend. What a great positive attitude you have, truly an inspiration to a pre-op like me! I wish you continued success with your journey. I pray that you will have no more complications. Also, sending my prayers for your cousin to have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. Take care and God Bless You!~~~Lisa

Hi everyone finally feel up to writing I had a long recovery developed a bile leak andwas hospitalized for 14 days , came home for aweek and back in developed dehydration and pnemonia hopefully I am on my way to a healthy future. I have lost 25 lbs so far so that's a start Was able to atend my nieces wedding this past Saturday my main goal I even was able too stand up and dance a few steps with her so that made my day. Having a hard time getting the protein in me I always feel so full,so now I am eating bean and pea soups because they have some protein and adding protein powder not to bad . Good luck to anyone having the surguery, My cousin is having it done on the 24 I wish her the best she is having the lap one though where I had the oen.

Marilyn, Just checking in to say - FELIZIDADES / CONGRATULATIONS - for deciding to take this life-changing step to becoming a more healthier you! I hope everything goes as planned and that you have a speedy recovery. Some words of advice: Please remember to keep positive thoughts at all times. When in doubt – ASK! Keep records of everything, including photos (makes a great scrapbook that you can look back on when you reach goal) and please keep your journal updated because you never know whom you might be helping. You will be in my thoughts. ~ Kelly
