First off, I'm doing GREAT!!!  Never had any trouble keeping anything down, I only use my pain meds at night to help me sleep.  Doing just great!!!  Thank you, God!!  
And here comes some more great ways GOD had total kept me in His hands.....He is so faithful!!!!  I submitted my food receipts and mileage to the insureance company for my travel for lapband stuff for 2007 cause they reimburse me for that stuff since I have to travel more that 50 miles from my home.  Well, I thought it was .20cents per mile, but it was 48.5 cents per mile.  I received a check in the mail today for over $1000!!!!!  We drive my little Toyota Yaris, which gets 40MPH highway, so we made money!!LOL  That check also paid for my childcare for 3 kids and more!!!!!  GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD!!!!  HE really takes care of His sheep!  And that was all from the time before my surgery.  I haven't even submitted stuff for 2008, yet!  
It's all GOD!!

Surgery went really well.  THANK YOU, GOD!!!  I'm feeling good concidering I just had surgery yesterday!  I'll let you know how things are going through out the week.  God is so faithful, and I owe all my successes to Him!

Ok!  My hubby and mom said that they were gonna do the 10 day liquid diet with me...NOT!!!!  Hubby did breakfast and lunch, then quit.  My mom did breakfast, and that was it.  I'm really shocking myself at how great I'm doing!!!  I still cook meals for my family then sit at the table with them drinking my slim fast .  Today, after church we went to CiCi's Pizza Buffet and all I had was the broth (allowed)from the soup that they have there.  God is really helping me, cause I know I could never give up pizza before. 
I think traveling was the hardest.  I had to go and order meals for 7 people and split up french fries and rip hambergers in half, and then sit and smell it all in the car while I sipped on a luke warm slim fast:( YUCK!
I can't wait till Jan 11th...I can have cream of mushroom soup!!!  Anything sounds good to me right now!  I think if the doctor said I could have cardboard right now, I'd probably eat it!!LOL  It is getting easier.  It is still hard at meal times when everyone else is eating.  I think it would be a little easier if I wore a clothes pin on my nose!!LOL  Keep me in your prayers!

I had my pre-op on the 19th of Dec.  Everything went well!  Next step is SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Jan 4th!!!!!!!!  I start my 10 days of slim fast on Christmas!!  Lucky me!!LOL  I have to be in for surgery at 5:30am.  My hubby and I will have to drive to Hickory the night before and stay the night in a hotel.  I will have to stay in the hosp 1 night, so I will be coming home on Sat, Dec 5th.  Please pray for me!!

I'm in total SHOCK!!!!!!!!!  THANK YOU, JESUS!!!!!  I'm approved!!!  Haven't talked to the people at the surgery clinic, yet for a date.  The girl who sets the surgery dates should be calling any minute, now!!!  I'll keep you all updated!!!  The Lord is so faithful!!!!  I got approval in 24 hours!!!!!  GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!  Have a BLESSED DAY!!!:)

My appointment with Dr. Cook went well!!  They will submit all my paperwork to insurance via fax on Monday, Nov. 12th.  They said that they will try to get me in before Christmas!!!  Please keep me in prayer!  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my surgeons appt on Nov 9th.  Then they submit to insur!!!  Keep me in your prayers!!!

I'm 2 steps closer!!!!  Yesterday I had my psyc eval, which took all of 20 min, and my education class.  Everything went great!  My psyc eval was faxed to  my surgeons office before I even left the ed class, so they now have everything from me!!!!  The next step is for my surgeons office to contact me with an appoint with my surgeon, then they will submit to insurance!!!  Then.....once I get approved, I schedule my surgery and then go in for my pre-op testing ~2 weeks before surgery.  Everything else is going great too!  My hubby is so wonderful!!    That 5 hour ride to Hickory is LONGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!  And my hubby did all the driving, to and from, and was so wonderful through the whole day.  I am SO BLESSED!!!!

Got my psyc eval scheduled and my ed class on Sept 25th and I'm just waiting!  I have all my paperwork in!!!
