I saw the surgeon for the first time last week.  It was a very brief meeting.  Basically they gave me all the things that need to happen in order for insurance to approve me for surgery. I am planning to have the bariatric sleeve. That's what insurance pays for.  To my surprise I got a phone call yesterday from the surgeon's office asking me if I can go in to have my endoscopy tomorrow.. So tomorrow morning at 8am I have to be at the hospital for the procedure. I have had this done before but it was in 1990 so......  I remember throwing up when they put the tube in my throat but nothing after that. I will let you know how it goes. I am excited to get everything done. I know it could be a few months away before I know anything.  Being patient is the hardest thing but there isn't anything else to do but wait and do what I'm told.
