"I use the "Egg by Jay" protein powder in chocolate and it is delicious! Nothing artificial in it and when mixed with milk its about 32 grams of protein. I take extra biotin because a component of egg protein (avidin)binds with it which keeps it from being utilized by your body. Egg protein is the protein by which all others are measured and this has no nasty whey aftertaste. "
"CONSULTATION -
I got in to see the doctor after an hour of waiting. I could tell he was very busy because the waiting room was "standing room only"! Dr. Anez seems nice and has a wry/dry sense of humor. He used colored pencils to show where the food goes and where the different "juices" mix with it. He sufficiently answered the 20 detailed questions I asked. He comes highly recommended by my PCP who, in my opinion, is the best doctor ever.

Dr. Anez is an extremely gifted surgeon with many years of experience. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of an expert in bariatric surgery. "
"My stay wasn't restfully quiet because I was there during the opening of a new wing. I changed rooms 3 times in 3 days. Even so, most of the caregivers were great (though stressed out) and kept asking me if I needed pain meds. I was up laughing and dancing (gently) just hours after surgery. One outstanding RN in particular who was truly excellent at her job and caring too was Christine (the Asian Christine who worked day shift 11/16/03). Several other care givers were very good at their jobs as well, such as Mardin (SP?), Irene, Carlette, Song, and Ben. Thank you all so much!! "
