Paul P. Lin

"POST 2: OK, so I never posted after my first appointment. Dr. Lin is an amazing surgeon. He and his residents really looked after me in the hospital and there have been no complications so far, and only reasonable amounts of pain. He dropped by on a Saturday just to see me off. It was funny seeing him in his Bill Cosby like sweater after seeing him in the doctor coat all week. I really have nothing bad to say about Dr. Lin, but I'm just embarking on the post-op journey, so I'll update as I go along. POST 1: I have my first appointment on April 7. I got the appointment through a friend (AKA my fairy godmother!). The lady with whom I spoke was very nice and it seems I will do some paperwork and watch a video and meet with Dr. Lin's staff for one hour and then have a chance to meet with the doctor. I read positive things about him on this forum which eases some of my anxiety. The lady (Cathy?) also told me that I should expect some information in the mail so I would know what to bring. Hopefully that will help speed up the insurance process. God, I really hope my insurance will cover at least some of it because I am BANKRUPT. My parents are willing to pay for some...but at 28, I just feel like I need to stop borrowing from them. Still, I need this, and as they pointed out, they just helped my sister and her boyfriend buy a hou... I'll post again after the first appointment!"
