I had stomach stabling in 1989, and never really lost that much weight. I am now interested in having the new Gastric bypass, but have been told that it is a very difficult procedure with many complications. I really want to have the revison but can't seem to find a surgeon in the Pittsburgh, PA area(my insurance is UPMC) who has done a large amount of the revisions. Dr. Ramanathan is a nice Dr. and he has done about 30 revisions. I would like to have a DR who has done more than 30, but this type of information is hard to obtain. I would appreciate any information pertaining to Pittsburgh Bariatric surgeons who may specialize in revisions.
