I am a 36-year-old wife and mother. My husband is in the United States Navy serving at Ft. Gordon, Georgia currently. We have 4-year-old triplet sons who will be turning 5 at the end of April. I wasn't always overweight. In 1995, I starting getting ill and the doctors couldn't figure out what was going on. Within 6 months or so, I had gained 100 pounds. Trying everything, I was never able to get the weight off. Three years later, one of the OB/GYNs that I worked for asked me if I had ever been tested for Poly-Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. Within just a few days, we figured out all the symptoms that I had years early where signs of the PCOS flaring up. Since then, I have tried losing the weight every way imaginable but nothing worked. In 2004, I was blessed to find an infertility specialist that worked with my PCOS and we were blessed with triplet boys in 2005. It is for them that I am taking this journey. I want to be able to run and play with them and live to see them grow up and have children of their own.
So...my journey begins...March 9th, 2010!
