Had surgical consult with Dr Campbell on 1/12.  She was excellent and said I have an excellent chance of getting the diabetes into remission since I've had it less than 10 years.  I have a sugery date of 3/31/09.  The "evil" CIGNA surprised me and actually approved the surgery in 2 days!!  Perhaps they're trying to change their image.
