Almost a year!

Hi my OH Family I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while. Looking at the post and pictures I see everyone is doing great! Reflecting back on this year has been an amazing ROLLERCOASTER ride. I'm 20lbs away from my goal weight but I'm so pleased with my sleeve. It's been some ups and downs emotionally, mentally, and physically. It's amazing how your mind has to catch up with your weight loss because even though I was getting the compliments and the clothes size were dropping I still felt obese. Even now I have a hard time seeing what others see. However I know that I feel better, medication free (besides my vitamins) and I have a lot more energy. My biggest joy is playing with my grand kids and NOT getting short of breath. I went for a consult for the tummy tuck and breast lift because my insurance will pay for it if you meet the criteria. Well, I didn't! LOL! I didn't have enough hanging skin, no muscle damage, or hernia's that needed to be repaired. I thought I was going to leave the office upset, but I wasn't. I think I'm finally excepting my new and improved body. One of my friends also just had the sleeve she was so impressed with my outcome and she's doing great. I have another consult with a plastic surgeon on March 6 so we'll see how that goes.
