"I think that the nurses on the floor should have been more informed or taken some kind of training(taught by an obese individual) on how to move the patient around, how to clean an obese patient, etc. Other than that the hospital was terrific and the informed staff. "
"He was very competent and experienced on the subject. My impression has not changed over time. The office staff was kind. The lady who did the scheduling seemed a little ticked at me because I kind of hounded her until she gave me a date, but, no other qualms(sp). There are certain requirements Dr. Clough wants you to meet. For example you have to quit smoking. He will not operate on alcoholics. Dr. Clough strongly emphasized having a structured aftercare program beginning at 6 weeks for exercise. Yes Dr. Clough made us aware of the risks of the surgery and also the benefits. I am confident that Dr. Clough is competent and will do a great job, as his record shows.

Even though my bc/bs insurance was canceled, and Dr. Clough does not accept medicaid, he agreed since we had come this far together that he would accept my Medicaid as insurance. I am extremely grateful to him for this....he can not ever know what this means to me.....:)"
