i STARTED THIS STUPED JOURNEY ON JANUARY 27 2010. THAT WAS THE DAY i HAD gASTRIC BYPASS I HAD SUCH HOPES! WHEN I WOKE UP I WAS NAUSEATED AND THEY PUSHED PROTEIN DRINKS AND WATER AND NAUSEA MEDS. I TRIED EVERYTHING ALL KINDS OF PILLS AND POTIONS.

WELL 3-4 WEEKS OUT i HAD A UPPER ENDO SCOPE THEY FOUND AN ULCER AND BLAMED ALL MY PROBLEMS ON THAT. I HAD TWO MORE WEEKS OF MALNUTRITION AND DEHYDRATION. THEN THEY PUT IN THE GASTRIC FEEDING TUBE INTO THE REMENANT STOMACH.  IT REMAINDED WITH ONE REPLACEMENT UNTIL 5-10-10.

THAT IS THE DAY THAT THE SURGEON HAD PROMISED ME HE WOULD DO A REVERSAL.  WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL I HAD TO SIGN CONSENT FORMS WELL THEY SAID REVISION ON RNY.  WELL I REFUSED TO SIGN THEM. WELL IN COME THE SURGEONS I WAS VERY CALM AND I TOLD THEM IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT UNLESS THEY WERE GOING TO DO THE REVERSAL, I WAS WALKING OUT!  WELL THEY TRIED TO TALK ME INTO DOING IT THERE WAY THE ONLY WAY! I WON THAT BATTLE. WHEN I WOKE UP I KNEW I WAS STILL SICK!  I CAN NOT EAT NOR DO I DRINK MUCH.  I AM NAUSEATED AND I HAVE DIAHERRA EVERYDAY. I HAVE ELEVATED LIVER ENZYMES AND THAT IS ANOTHER STORY!

I AM HOPING THAT A GASTROENETEROLOGIST IS GOING TO BE MY ANSWER. THE SURGEON DID A UPPER ENDO SCOPE ON 6-7-10 HE FOUND NOTHING BUT SOME INFLAMTION AND REDNESS IN ONE SPOT ONCE AGAIN. CARAFATE FOR 6 WEEKS.

I HAVE NAUSEA, DIAHERRA  AND VOMITING DAILY. I HAVE WEAKNESS AND DEHYDRATION AND MALNUTRITION! i KNOW I AM SICK AND THAT EVERYDAY I AM CLOSER TO DEATH! i HAVE ACCEPTED THIS FACT AND KNOW THAT UNLESS A DOCTOR CAN SOLVE MY NAUSEA AND DIAHERRA I WILL MEET MY MAKER SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!

I WILL TRY TO UPDATE THIS AS MY ENERGY ALLOWS.

O.K here is the latest I was admitted back into the hospital on 6/18/2010 again for dehydration. This time the dehydration would not and did not show up on my blood work!  They could tell from my urine color as well as my blood pressure! They told me to be prepared to stay until they found out what was wrong! The surgeon had my regular Doctor admit me! He said that him and the other Surgeon are leaving town on Tuesday and wont be back until Friday for a conference!

They found a stricture, another ulcer & some other things in side the stomach! The Gastroenterologist Doctor said he does not understand why the Surgeon who did the last upper endoscopies did not see this.

He fixed it and will advise the other Doctors and the Surgeons on how to treat the ulcer so that this one heals! He did say, I will be here for a while yet! I need to heal and be able to eat solid food and keep it down! He thinks the nausea, the vomiting and the diarrhea will all be a thing of the past!

I lay here in my hospital bed it is 10:33pm est The head surgeon came in to see me today and followed me to radiolgy and watched as they did a upper gi series and declared all normal in my GI trac. He proceeded to tell me and my husband that if I would drink shakes my nausea would go away. He ordered me a smoothie. I drank a few sips and was feeling so sick. I vomitted. I don't know what he will think about that. I know I don't have any appetite I don't have any thirst and I just feel Sick all the time. I am weaker everyday and I need the doctors to freaking agree on what my game plan is!  I am actually in the hospital as a patient and they are letting me die. more later

Friday 6/25 was told by dr barlow and dr  fraddie that I need to have a j tube inserted. I was agreeable to this. Saturday morning dr Barlows associate came in and said I need to have a upper gi series and then barlow would scope and dialte me more on monday6/28. Well we will see what happens tomorrow and the fighting that will happen if I had the streghth I would get out of this bed a scream and throw a hissy fit! The dieticans here are all worried that since being in the hospital I have not had anything to drink or eat! They are talking about TPN untill the doctors get there heads out of the sun! The Head surgeon actually said everytime we operate on her ther just seems to get a awful lot of side effects! that is his reasoning for not wanting to place the j tube! I  guess he needs to see a problem on film for one to be there,
