My Beginning

Apr 19, 2012

Hi my name is Marjorie, I am 24 years old and have a 2 1/2 year old son. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I remember in elementary school wearing the same size clothes as my sister that was 6 years older than myself. In jr. high school I was about a size 12 (and I thought that was big) and was probably in a size 14 when I graduated. I know now that I wasn't really that big but when most of your classmates wore a size 4 it makes you really self-conscious.

A couple of months after my high school graduation my father died at the age of 58 of a massive heart attack. It was really hard for me being 18 years old. I thought of all the things he would miss in my life. He wouldn't be able to walk me down the aisle when I got married and he would never see my children.
At this time in my life I am scared that if I don't do something about my weight that I too will die an early death from complications of morbid obesity like heart disease. I don't want to live my life having to take medications every day to control high blood pressure or diabetes. I want to be able to play outside with my son. I want to be able to run behind him the first time he tries to ride a bike. And take him to the park and play with him on all the slides and tubes instead of just watching. I want to be able to ride a rollercoaster with him and not worry about the restraints not fitting because I am too fat. I want to be able to give my son a little brother or sister, which I can't do now because I am suffering infertility from being morbidly obese. I want to live a normal life. I don't think that is too much to ask.

I had been a stay at home mom now the past 1 1/2 years, but recently went back to work so that I could have insurance and pursue this surgery. I went back to work 7/26/02 and my insurance was to go into effect on 8/1/02. So I called Dr. Gorospe's office to make an appointment for a consultation. My appointment was for 8/28/02 and I really hoped I would have my insurance card in time. Well I didn't so I went to my HR dept at work and requested a temporary card that I could use. The consultation went really well, I weighed 264 lbs. and with a height of 5'7" that makes my BMI 41.3, I should qualify. Well 2 days after my consultation I received a letter from the benefits dept where I work that said I have waived my insurance "WHAT?" I was so worried I didn't want to have to wait until the 1st of the year to pursue my surgery. Well after 3 weeks of trying to get everything straightened out I finally got my insurance fixed 2 days ago. I called Dr. Gorospe's office and told them to resend my letter of request for surgery. I had called my insurance co. and asked for the direct fax number to medical review so hopefully this part of the process won't take too long. I will update more when I have any new information.

******Sept-27-2002******

Called Cigna to see if they had received my letter requesting surgery. Talked to Marnita and she was very nice. She looked in the computer and said there were no updates but suggested that I have the Dr's office fax my letter to her. She said she would send it to medical review personally. I called Dr. G's office and Denise said she would fax the letter right now. A few minutes later Marnita called and said she had received the letter and would put a rush on it and I should be able to call and find out if I'm approved by Wed. I am really excited to think by the middle of next week I should know something but am really scared that I'm going to be denied. Most of the posts on the research insurer page say approved after 1st letter but I still can't help thinking that I am going to be denied. I guess I'll know in 5 days. If anyone is reading this please wish me luck! I will update more when I have any new information.

******Sept-30-2002******

Well I called my insurance co today and they want more information. The woman I talked to said they needed my medical history, a physical, all treatments tried and failed and documentation of co-morbid conditions. I made an appointment for a physical tomorrow with Dr. Bell (a wls friend recommended him). I am going to write up all my weight loss attempts (none were Dr. supervised) and a complete list of co-morbid conditions no matter how small and take it with me tomorrow for Dr. Bell to send to Denise at Dr. Gorospe's office. I am also going to request referral for a sleep study. I am going to get my medical records (I have very few) together tomorrow as well. At least I'm finding all this out early and hopefully will be able to get this all sent in to Marnita (Cigna PPO) sometime this week, and hopefully call and find out if I'm approved by next week. If I don't don't get approved I don't know what I'm going to do. If anyone is reading this please wish me luck! I will update more when I have any new information.

******Oct-03-02******
Well I forgot to update on Tuesday after my appointment with Dr. Bell so here goes. He asked me if I wanted WLS and I told him I did. He asked me if I had tried everything to try and lose weight and I told him everything short of prescription drugs. He then went on to tell me about Xenical, Meridia, and another drug I can't remember the name of. He told me that they recently discovered either Meridia or Xenical (can't remember which one) is causing liver problems. And recommended the 3rd drug. I told him I would rather just try for the surgery because we all know that the pills aren't permanent. Another reason I don't want to try the drugs is because of all the complications they are finding out about after the fact. I would rather be fat than need a liver or heart transplant.
Anyway he asked how tall I was and left the room to calculate my BMI. I already knew what it was but figured he would want to look it up for him self. He came back in the room and told me that I qualified for the surgery according to my BMI and we went on to talk about Co-morbids. I gave him a list of complaints even small ones and he ordered some blood tests. I told him that I wanted to have a sleep study done to see if I had sleep apnea but he didn't mention anything about it. He told me he would dictate some of the information that night and once the labs were back he would do the rest and that he should have it all done by next Monday. I'm also supposed to go back and see him in 2-3 weeks to go over the results of my blood tests.
Anyway I talked to Denise in Dr. Gorospe's office and she has my history from Dr. Chappell and all we are waiting on now is my list of tried and failed (don't have to be documented just a list written out by me of everything I've tried EASY!), the phsyical and the list of documented co-morbids from Dr. Bell. Hopefully by the end of next week at the latest everything should be sent into the insurance for review.
I talked to the girl that recommended Dr. Bell to me (she also has Cigna PPO), she had her surgery on Tues. Sept 24th. I told her how things were going with Cigna and she said it was exactly the same thing they done to her. And she thinks since they requested more information instead of flat out denying me that is a good sign they will probably approve me. I so hope so. I also made all the appointments that Dr. Gorospe requires before surgery except the psych so as soon as I get my approval things should really start going fast.
Another tidbit of good news is that my insurance isn't going to change the 1st of the year like I had been told when I hired in. They are changing it but it won't go into effect until April 1st so that gives me an extra 3 months I didn't think I had. So as long as I don't have to appeal I should have plenty of time with the current insurance. YEAH!! Well this has turned out alot longer than I had originally planned so I am off for now and will update as soon as I have any new information.

******Oct-09-02******

Well I tried to update yesterday but my dear 3 yo son turned off the computer while I was away from my desk and I lost it all :(
Anyway here goes again.

Monday I called Denise with Dr. Gorospe's office and asked her is she had received the letter and results from my physical from Dr. Bell. She told me that she had and I asked her if she thought she needed anything else from me before sending everything back into the insurance co. She told me I could send her a more detailed list of my tried and failed attempts if I wanted her to wait before sending to the insurance co., but that she thought everything looked pretty good. I told her to go ahead and send everything in and that if they came back again and asked for more information I then would fill out a more detailed list to send in. Anyway I called Cigna and asked to speak with Marnita to see if she had gotten the fax yet but she was unavailable. The lady I talked to told me she would send Marnita an email asking her to call me when she got the fax. She called today (Wednesday) and told me she got it and would forward it to medical review and that I should hear something within a week. I am extremely nervous and affraid of a denial. I asked Marnita if she thought the information she received was enough and she said it looked like enough. So again I'm in the waiting on insurance process again. I'm going to call them tomorrow to see if there are any updates. As last time I have a fax sent to Marnita it was reviewed the next day. Wish me luck.

I also wanted to share a letter I received in the mail from Dr. Bell's office. This is not the letter he sent to Dr. Gorospe's office.

"The following is a summary of your most recent office visit. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please feel free to bring it in with you on your next office visit so we can discuss it.

CVILLE
FRANTZ, MARJORIE
10-01-02

REASON FOR VISIT: Marjorie comes in today complaining of trouble with her obesity. She did see Dr. Gorospe for initial consult for the gastric bypass surgery. She has multiple health problems and family history. Her BMI is 41.3. She does have problems with sleep apnea, backaches, feet hurting, skin problems secondary to skin flaps causing sores in her stomach, back spasms, ankle swelling, shortness of breath, and acid reflux. She also has problems with depression secondary to her weight and low self esteem and also stress incontinence secondary to obesity. We are trying to help her out as much as we can to get approved for this and I think it will help her a lot. We do have lab work pending to make sure there are no other factors causing her weight gain. She has gained a lot of weight after she had her last baby. She does want to have another child. She did get pregnant not too long ago, but unfortunately lost that one. I think with the weight loss she'll have a much better chance carrying the baby until full term.

PLAN: We'll see her back in the next two or three weeks and we'll review her lab work and hopefully she'll get the gastric bypass surgery.

Case discussed with Dr. Block

Note: I will dictate a letter, which will be faxed to Dr. Gorospe's office."

******Oct-10-02******

I called Cigna twice today to find out if there have been any updates. The first woman I talked to told me that no updates had been made yet and asked when the information was sent to medical review. I told her probably yesterday. She told me if they put a rush on it that I could know something either tomorrow or Monday. The second woman I talked to told me no determination had been made yet and that it was still pending. I'm going to call again tomorrow. I am getting very nervous of a denial.
So long for now. I'll update again as soon as I get an answer from Cigna. Wish me luck!

******Oct-11-02******

I called Cigna and the woman I talked to told me that the person reviewing my case had just gotten the information today and that I might find something out on Monday. I'll update again on Monday.

******Oct-15-02******

I called Cigna again today. They need more information yet. Here is what I was told:
The Specific CPT code for service requested. (seems easy enough)
The members co-morbid conditions and treatment for them. (I thought this was in the last bundle of information.)
Documentation of consult from mult. disciplinary team.(What does this even mean???)
Progress notes. (Again one of those things I'm unsure of)
I'm going to see Dr. Bell again on Thursday to go over my lab results from the 1st. I will tell him what Cigna is wanting this time and hopefully he will be able to help me with everything they are needing this time and next time I will find out I'm approved.
Wish me luck please!!! I'll update more when I have more information.

******Oct-17-02******

Well I found out what the mult disciplinary team is. Basicly they want documentation of my consults with the Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, and Cardiologist. This is a pain in my butt, but I am going to cooperate. At least then this lady will know I mean business and that I'm not going to give up just because she is sending me on a wild goose chase. My appointments with the Gastroenterologist and Pulmonologist are next Friday and the appointment with the Cardiologist is scheduled for Nov. 21st. I'm going to try and resubmit the information they want after just the first 2 visits just incase that is enough to approve me. If they come back and say they need the documentation from the Cardiologist at least I tried to speed this up a little bit.

I went for my follow up with Dr. Bell today. I told him what the insurance co needs now and I think he is going to write up another letter to send to them. He asked my about my periods, if I still had them. I told him that I don't have periods very often and that the pregnancy in Aug. was from a spontaneous ovulation and that I haven't had a period since the bleeding from the miscarriage stopped. He asked me if I have any times durring the month where I get moody like PMS or if I ever spotted either and I said no to both.

Also we went over my lab results from the 1st. My hormones are a little off and my cholesterol is a little high. He told me it wasn't bad and gave me some samples of Lipitor 10 mg to take every other day that way it would be documented that we are treating it. He said it would look better to the insurance co that way. I'm supposed to go back in 1 month so that we can show the insurance that I'm being monitored. I just wish this would hurry up and be over with and I can just have surgery. I hate all these hoops I have to jump through. Oh yeah I thought I would add that I gained 2 lbs since my 1st visit with him on Oct. 1st UGH.

I was supposed to see my OB/GYN today also but decided not to go. I'm affraid to go into see him. I was going to ask him to give me something to bring on my period and ask for a letter recommending the surgery for me to send the insurance co. I just don't think he would be supportive and try to lecture me. I don't think I like him anymore and I think I am going to start seeing someone else. Dr. Bell told me of a few different Ob/Gyns that he works with that are supportive of WLS. I may make an appointment with one of them. I'm already getting tired of going to Drs. All these co-pays are adding up already. At least my insurance covers 100% after deductible and co-pays for in network Drs. And I found out today that my deductible is met from when I seen the Dr. after my miscarriage. Anyway that is my update thus far and I'll update again after my appointments on Oct. 25th. Wish me luck!!

******Oct-28-2002******

Well I had my appointments with Dr. Worley and Dr. Ajmera this past Fri Oct 25th. All went well. Dr. Worley set up a sleep study for me on Nov 26th to find out if I have sleep apnea. He pretty much told me that I seem healthy and gives me the go ahead with surgery so long as Cigna approves me. Dr. Ajmera didn't have much to say either. I'm supposed to have an EGD with him but don't have a date yet. They wanted me to have it done on the same day as the sleep study but it would have to be early in the morning and they knock you out and you have to have someone drive you to and from and I live 1+ hours away and would have to find something to do until 9pm while loopy from anethesia. To me that doesn't sound very good. I'm going to find out if Cigna requires the EGD to be done before they will approve otherwise I'm going to wait until after I'm approved and have a surgery date scheduled. I have to be at the sleep study from 9pm to around 6am then I am hoping to have my appointment with the cardiologist later that morning. They lady that I made the appointment with told me that there my not be a dr. there on that day because its the day before Thanksgiving and she might have to schedule it for the day before. I hope not. I'm starting to stress again. I only have 5 months before my insurance gets changed and these hoops I keep having to jump through are starting to scare me. What if they keep throwing them at me and I run out of time. UGH!! Oh well I'm not ready to give up yet!!
If anyone is reading this feel free to email me with questions, advice, or just words of encouragement. Until next time...

******Nov-7-02******

Well there is still no new news. I called Denise from Dr. Gorospe's office today to see if she ever received a letter from Dr. Bell from my 10-17 appointment and she hadn't. I told her that he sent a summarized letter to me and that I could send it to her since I've called Dr. Bell twice and asked him to send something and he hadn't. So I faxed the letter to her. I'm going to try calling again tomorrow to see if she thinks what she has is good enough to try sending into Cigna. They requested the specific CPT code, list of co-morbid conditions and specific treatments for them, documentation of consultation from multi-disciplinary team, and progress notes. I know she has the CPT code and the summarized letter somewhat has the list of co-morbid conditions and treatments and progress notes, and she has the documentation from the Gastro and Pulmonary doctors. Hopefully that will be enough to get approved. I'm getting really frusterated with this whole process. My BMI is over 40 that should be all I need to get approval. Right now I just wish they would give me an answer either way, I'm tired of the run around. I'll try and update tomorrow once I find out if she thinks what I sent her today combined with what she already has is enough. I sure hope so. Until next time...

******Nov-12-02******

Well everything and nothing has changed. I'll explain. I took the letters to the store to fax to Denise last Fri. And she called me today to tell me she still didn't get them. Now I don't understand. I have asked Dr. Bell to fax them twice and each time I thought it was a problem on his end but I faxed them my self and she still didn't get them so now I believe that the problem is one their end. So that is the part that has not changed and now for the part that has changed. I am in the process of changing to a new surgeon.

Let me go back in time a few months and I explain it a little bit better. I had my consult on Aug 28, 2002 in the office of Dr. Gorospe and Dr. Bosquez. I had looked up on the Cigna website to see if they were in network for the PPO plan and what I found was that Dr. Gorospe was in network and Dr. Bosquez was not so I thought that I had no choice but to choose Dr. Gorospe. Well a couple of months ago Dr. Bosquez split away from Dr. Gorospe and opened his own practice and apparently now he is an in network provider for Cigna PPO. I hear nothing but good things about Dr. Bosquez and his office staff. Dr. Gorospe on the other hand I have heard lots of bad stuff about, he is a good surgeon don't get me wrong but his bedside manner and office staff aren't the best. So I am currently waiting on a card in the mail I have to sign so that Dr. Bosquez's office can get my records from Dr. Gorospe's office. I'll update as soon as I have any new information. Until next time...

******Nov 17-2002******

Well last Thursday the cardiologist called and told me that there wasn't going to be a doctor in the office to do my appointment on the 27th. I think I'm going to reschedule it for after Christmas. I'm going to be sending some letters to Dr. Bosquez's office tomorrow so that hopefully they can get the next round of information to Cigna. Hopefully I can get approved without getting the EGD and Cardio done first. I still have my sleep study scheduled for the 26th so I'll update then if I have no new info before that. Until next time...

******Dec 4-2002******

Well there is not much to update but here goes... I had my sleep study on Nov. 26th and got my results tonight. Dr. Worley said I had severe sleep apnea and that I stopped breathing 35 times an hour. I've heard of people that have stopped breathing over 100 times an hour so I'm not sure how severe my case really is but he is putting me on a c-pap machine. I'm going to call my surgeons office tomorrow to see if they have gotten the results yet and ask them if they think with this I have enough to get approved. I'm getting sick of going to doctors still not knowing if I'm going to be approved. I wouldn't mind going if I knew I was approved and had a surgery date scheduled. But I don't want to continue spending money if I'm not sure I'm going to get approved. Oh Well I guess we will see. I'll update tomorrow after I call the surgeons office IF there is any NEW news. Until next time...

******Dec 9-02******

Well I called the surgeons office Thursday and asked if they had gotten the results from my sleep study and they said that they had and that they faxed it to Cigna that day. I called Cigna Friday and asked it they had gotten it. There had been no update yet. I called today and they had gotten it and I was in review again. I asked the customer service rep how long it would be before I would know if I was approved and she said 10-15 business days. I don't think so... I am going to call everyday starting today to see what happens. I know it won't take 10-15 business days cause it hasn't so far. I guess they have to say that because maybe it "can" take that long but I am going to call again tomorrow. I will update again when there is new news. Until next time...

******Dec 10-02******

I'M APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just called Cigna a few hours ago and I am approved. It was just entered into the computers today. I don't have my authorization number yet or a surgery date but the hard part is over. I should be post-op by the end of Jan or the beg of Feb. I'm so happy. By the way I think that it was the sleep apnea that finally got me approved. It is so hard to believe that I am approved!! I am so happy there are no words to explain! I will update after I hear more from my surgeon's office as far as pre-op visits and scheduling goes. Until next time...

******Dec-12-02******

Well I have a surgery date scheduled for Jan 22 if all goes well. I still have to have my EGD which is scheduled for Jan 9th a Cardio eval and Psych eval both scheduled on Jan 14th and I am also going to see the surgeon on the 14th. I have to do this because I changed surgeons mid approval. I'm so glad I switched to this new surgeon. I am convinced that the switch is what helped to get my approval through. Maybe I would have gotten approved with Dr. Gorospe but really I think Dr. Bosquez's office is faster as far as faxing things to insurance. Maybe it is because his practice is smaller, I don't know. But I am satisfied with my switch. By the way I haven't gotten my c-pap machine yet. I think I am going to have to call the surgeons office to see if they want me on it prior to surgery and call Dr. Worley to find out why I haven't been called yet to get set up with my machine. Well I'm going to go and will update later. I don't know how much I will update between now and surgery date since I am pretty much just in the waiting game now. Oh well until next time...

******Jan-10-03******

Well I had my EGD yesterday and also my pre-op at the hospital. I survived both. They weighed me at the pre-op and I was 260 so I either lost 4 lbs. or the scales were off. I am less than 2 weeks away from surgery. I have my appt. with the Cardiologist and Psych next Tuesday and am also visiting with my surgeon. I finally got my Bi-pap machine 3 days ago. But I've had a cold with a stopped up nose so really haven't gotten to use it. I've tried but have had to take it off everynight so far. Hopefully I will get used to it before my surgery day. I also want to thank everyone that have left messages for me on my surgery page. Well that is all the updates for now. I will update again after Tues. Until next time...

******Jan-15-03******

Well I had the last of my pre-op appts yesterday. I went to see the cardiologist and everything is fine. Since I am young, healthy except for the weight and a non-smoker they signed off on me with out even making me do the treadmill. YEAH! After that I seen the psych. She said I was a pretty easy case too. Not a lot of emotional problems with food. I am not an emotional eater. Occasionally I eat from bordom but my biggest problem is my portion size. So she signed off on me. Then I went to see my surgeon for the first time. He is such a nice man. I asked a few questions and he answered them for me. He told me that for my goal I can expect to lose 100 lbs taking me to 160. He said the ideal weight for my height (142) is attainable but that 160 is a realistic goal. I have lost 4 lbs since my first consultation. I will tell you it has all been since Christmas as my nerves are making it hard to eat the closer I get to my surgery date. My son's 3rd birthday is Jan 19 and that is my last day to eat normally. I have to start liquids only on the 20th and then my surgery is on Wed. exactly 1 week from today. This will most likely be the last post I make until I after I get home from the hospital! I want to thank everyone that has left messages for me on my surgery page. Until next time...

******Jan-21-03******
Well I have around 24 hours to go until my surgery. I am excited. My surgeon requires a liquid diet for 48 hours before surgery so I am hungry. I also can't have anything by mouth after midnight tonight. I can't wait until I can log in and switch my profile from surgery date scheduled to post op and start reporting my progress. I need to go to the store tonight and buy some film for my camera to take before pics and a tape measure to measure my self with. Well I'm going to sign off until after I get home. I still have a lot to do around the house before I have to leave tomorrow. Again I want to thank everyone for their well wishes on my upcoming surgery. Until next time...

******Jan-29-03******

Well I am home and doing good. I had my surgery 1 week from today. I'm still quite stiff and sore but otherwise doing well. Let me tell you this was more painful than I had originally thought but over all not too bad. I got out of the hospital at noon on Sat. and from there went straight to a car lot to buy a new car. Yep that is right, we got our car reposessed on Fri the day before I was to come home. So Brian had to have his dad take him to come get me and then we had to buy a new car. Let me tell you by the time we finally signed on the dotted line I was really in pain and went straight to the pharmacy from there. I took pain pills and then we started home in our new car. I can't wait until I can drive it. We went from a 2001 Toyota Corolla basic model, stick shift, power nothing, no curise, to a 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, automatic, power everything, cd player, and cruise control. Our payments are a little more but considering the difference in quality and year of the cars I am happy. Not to mention our insurance is going to be cheaper. Anyway back to the subject here. I haven't noticed any weightloss and haven't weighed my self. (I'm going to have to go buy some scales) My stomach is still swollen so I wouldn't be able to tell it there anyway. I think maybe my face is a little slimmer looking but not too noticeable. I go for my 2 week check up on the 4th. So I guess I will post then how my progress is going. Well that's it for now. Until next time...

******Feb-9-03******

Well I forgot to update after my check up so I will do so now. My incision is healing up very good. Still hurts a little when I bend over or if something hits it. (3 year olds are good at that) But for the most part it is thin and looks good. The skin around it is very dry and I need to start moisturizing it. As far as weight loss the day of my check up they weighed me at 238 which was a 22lb loss. Their scales weighed me 3lbs heavier than my scales. According to my scales now I weigh 230. I still can't tell much difference. I can a little but not much. I am still a little swollen in my stomach area so I am sure once that goes down more I will start to notice it in my clothes. As far as eating goes, I have been able to eat just about anything. I have tried ground beef, the meat off an Arby's sandwich, and Chicken. I tried a Burger King ham croi'sandwich yesterday and ate some of the bread with it and that was a mistake. It hurt. I never threw up but almost felt like it. Then last night I ate some chicken and I think I ate too fast or didn't chew it up well enough and it hurt too but not as bad as the croi'sandwich. I'm going to have to be more carefull and think when I eat. So far I have not dumped either. Well that is all of my update for now. I have my next check up on March 3rd. Hopefully I will update before that. Well until next time...

******Feb-10-03******

Well I spoke too soon about not throwing up. Yesterday was a bad day. I threw up twice. I guess I ate too fast or didn't chew well enough yesterday and had to throw up my breakfast and dinner. My dinner hurt really bad and I didn't feel like I needed to throw up but I had to releive the pressure so I made my self throw up. I felt better afterwards but I hated doing it. But it was so much better than trying to deal with the pain. UGH Anyway I have only been having liquids today cause I want to let my pouch recuperate after yesterday. Well until next time...

******Feb-23-03******

Well I am still doing good. Yesterday was 1 month after surgery. I still have only thrown up that one time almost 2 weeks ago. I feel like I'm not losing though. I've pretty much stayed the same. My scales at home are saying 225 now which is 5 lbs since my last post. I guess I am on a plateau. I know it is normal but it really sucks. I feel like I can eat too much. I haven't dumped yet either and I have been eating some things with sugar. I know it is bad but I am not eating near what I would have before surgery. I have had 1 ding dong on 3 different occasions and 4 hershey's kisses on a couple of occasions. (Well it was Valentine's Day). Before surgery I would have had 1/2 a bag of kisses and 1/2 a box of ding dongs. Oh well I guess that is all the update I have for now. I go for my next appt. on March 3rd and will update with an official weight then. Until next time...

******March-9-2003******

I had my 6 week post op appointment on Monday the 3rd. Everything is going well. I weighed in at 227 so I had another 11 lb loss since my last visit making my total lost 33 since surgery and 37 since consult. Dr. Bosquez said that since I am young and only had 100 lbs to lose, if I keep my self well hydrated, exercise including toning, and use lotion on my skin to keep it hydrated that I should not have a problem with extra skin. I hope that this is indeed the case. I have alot of stretch marks from having my son so I have bad skin but I still hope that I don't need any reconstructive surgeries. I will want a boob job but don't know if I'll have the money to get one. I needed one before WLS. I don't have another appt. to see Dr. Bosquez until June 2nd but am not sure if I'll make it to that appt. It is the day before my husbands birthday and I have to drive an hour and a half each way. Maybe I will go shopping there as it is a much bigger city than where I live.
