Almost a year
Feb 07, 2009
Wow - next month will be one year. The weight dropped so quick in the beginning and then I hit a plateau. I started exercising and broke through that plateau and hit another. I finally broke through THAT 3 month plateau! But now, it looks like life has changed things up for me yet again. But here are my changes so far:
Went from 305 to 240
went from a size 24 to a size 18 (ALMOST a 16 - they button but holy crap they are just WAAAAY to uncomfortable).
wear a 2xl shirt down from 4xl (I've always liked my shirts bigger)
I exercise 4-5 days a week 60 minutes of cardio and I was working out with a trainer once a week. I now write what I eat (and hate it but it's the only way I can still continue to lose weight) and stay at about 1100 calories when I am exercising regularly.
I have a long way to go, but I look better, I feel better - but now, for the next 9 months all of that will go away. I'm still ambivalant about having to let go of everything I've worked so hard for, but I know I can do it - I know what it takes!
