I had a lap band then another lap band and now they've been removed.  I initially lost weight and was satisfied for a few years until the first slip, the second band could never get to "the sweet spot".  I was either vomiting or overeating.  The band was removed a few months ago.  I am 25 pounds hearvier than I was when I initally got it.   Now I am looking into a gastric sleeve.  My insurance has no bariatric benefits and I've paid cash thus far.  I have consider the Mexicali Bariatric Center because the cost is a third of what it is here.  I haven't commited yet and am tryign to gather information before deciding where to go.   I am looking for information from others who've had surgery in Mexico.
