 I'm so excited! I have been thinking about weight loss surgery for over 5 years. My past employers insurance policy did not cover Bariatric surgery, so it was never an option. I tried every weight loss program out there and did "ok" for a while, but always gained it back and more. 

So when I started with a new employer in November 2009. Was I ever thrilled to see Bariatric surgery was covered!! I thought , here is my chance..my window of opportunity. 

Starting in June 2010. I met with the Surgical team and found though my insurance policy I had several hoops to jump though. So I started jumping and doing exactly what the surgical team told me to do. I lost 14 pounds and got a surgery date on 8/23/2010.  I thought the day would never come...but it did! and I'm home now on day 6. Feeling some pain, but with the pain meds , great support from my husband and faith in a loving GOD who I believe is alive and healing me as I type this!! I will continue to praise HIM for this opportunity and Thank HIM for every pound I lose. HE has great things in store for this new thin, healthy body, I just know it!
