Hi just got home last night so i am still on clear liquids until next Doc. visit on the 11th of June I am feeling good little too no pain not feeling the need for food did get temped when hubby and son stopped by McD's on the way home from hospital ,I think it was just the smell.My stay at hospital was short went in Tues.at 5 am and was released 12 pm on Thursday,they weighed me before I left and I was down one pound from when I went in even with fluids.So I am now officially on the losers bench,hope it all continues to go good, stomach is just a little sore, six little holes I guess I will have six more new eyes (LOL) wish me sucess.

Hello all well tomorrow is the day I am scheduled for VS at 5:00am  I am a little nervous hoping everything goes well please pray for me 

Hello OH family I am new (kinda) but I have been reading post and looking at pic for quite some time. I have wanted WLS for many years but was talked out of it by family members but finally made up my mind to do what I feel  is right for me.I started my process in Feb.of 2014 with a seminar then in Oct. I had my first surgeon visit which started the ball rolling I have had all the test and did the six month diet ,so now I have my date and have started my pre-op liquid diet to have my surgery on May 26, I am hoping that everything goes well and that I too will be on the losers bench btw I will be having the VS 

Hello fellow WLS peeps I am new too the site kinda I have been a looky loo lurking the site for many years but last year(2014) I made my mind up to start the process of getting WLS. I went to a meeting and got a lot of information which help me decide,so I filled out all the paperwork in Feb of 14 didn't hear from the Bariatric clinic until Oct of 14 .Had my first appt. with surgeon and started the ball rolling.I've had all my required test and dietitican meetings so today I received a surgery date of  May 26 I am nervous already but I need this WLS because I have medical problems (diabetes,cholesterol,high blood pressure,terrible knee pain also had colon cancer) I have been over weight my entire life I have lost weight before on WW(40lbs) but gained it all back and some.So wish me well I will need some support because I have chose not too tell my family about my journey only my husband and he supports me but I know the ciblings won't so if the surgery goes well it will be over and done when they find out.

Hi I am a newbie I am scheduled for my first surgeon consult this Thurs.the 23rd getting nervous hope to get a date ,I have wanted this for a long time was shocked to get the call last month. Would like very much to hear from someone about the process after the first visit I have read on here about the liquid diet before surgery but would  like to know more of what is to come. Well I will post more after my visit.
