I have been heavy seems like all my life. I have had success in several attempts but have never been able to sustain the weigh loss for long periods of time.
Before I had my son in 2005 I have great success with Weigh Down but was sadden when reports came out about the abuse and death of a child from parents who were involved in the church.
My son was born at 33 weeks, so while he was in the hospital I was able to lose all my pregnancy weight because I was so worried about him.
Once he came home and the hectic life of being a single parent became my focus the weight came back.
I have went to several seminars but never followed thru with going for the procedure until 2009. Two days before my surgery, another issue was found with my health and I had to put the surgery on hold. My approval was close to ending when I asked my PCP about looking into Gastric Bypass again and he wanted to have more time between my most recent procedure.
I called to see about extending my approval. It took about 3 weeks but finally I was given the ok.
I had my consult on 2/17/11 and had my date already picked out 3/14
I am very excited and nerous. I know my life is about to go thru another drastic change but so looking forward to it this time.
i want to be able to be more active and engage in more outside activities with my son and to be health so I can be with him for a good while.
I know God is guiding me thru all of this and I thank all my family and friends for their support.
3/14 will be another BIRTH day for me!!!!
