On Monday March 16th, I finally met up with the surgeon that will be doing my surgery. He has cleared me and thinks that I will do and be good for the surgery. Today they will be sending in all the paperwork for insurance to approve me. The insurance lady told me mostly likely I will get approved. I still have to do a sleep study before surgery which is no problem. It's just to see if I have sleep apnea or not. Most likely I don't but who knows. My surgeon wants me to do a 4 week full liquid diet.  I was told it usually is 2 weeks for the liquid diet. The biggest reason why it's 4 weeks is because I have to get approved for surgery from my insurance company and that takes about 10 days or so. That will be about a week and a half. Then the person who will schedule my surgery will call me soon after they get the go from my insurance company. Then It will be another two and a half weeks of the full liquid diet, then it will be time for surgery. My surgeon wants me to lose at least 20 pounds or more. I can't gain anymore weight. 2 weeks ago a meet with a bariatrican and she put me on Phentermine 37.5 mg. With those two weeks of taking it I lost 10 pounds. Those 10 pounds counts towards the 20 pounds I need to lose. So I have 10 pounds to lose to reach that goal. It won't be hard for me. It all is coming together and I am so excited! I'm so motivated!!!

I have finished my 6 month dietitian meetings. I meet with the psychologist tomorrow for the last time until after surgery.

After my appointment with the psychologist, I will make an appointment with my surgeon to schedule a surgery date.
