My name is Shawnna...I am a 23 yr old mother. My son is my world. When I had him I was told I had an underactive thyroid, I have been taking my pills for the last almost 6 yrs but its not working the best I want it too. Before I got pregnant I was 120 and now almost 6 yrs later I am 302, my highest weight was 315 and I have lost that in the last 2 months, preparing for this. My surgery is booked for May 26th 2009!! I am so excited and scared to make alot of changes but its going to be worth it in the end when I can be more active with my already hyper son!! And finally take back my life!
