I have had a weight problem for awhile now, I had my first child when I was 11 and I started putting on weight then. I would go on diets like all of us have done-lose weight then gain it back doubled. In 2003 I finally got down to 135 pounds thanks to phentremine, only to gain it back 7 months later. In 2006 I was diagnosed hypertensive. This past year my blood pressure has been terrible, I also had migraines, that were making life with 4 kids unbearable.

I finally said enough is enough and here I am.
After being scared out of my mind about having 85% of my stomach removed, I am here and loving my sleeve. My Blood pressure is normal and I am only 3 weeks out and 23 pounds down.

My main concern with the whole thing was possibly having to wean my 20 month old from the breast but with wonderful, educated, loving advice and help from my Surgeon, NUT , and Lactation Consultant, my baby is still nursing and I couldn't be a happier mom.

BTW... I forgot to mention I already have enough energy to keep up with the kids-I can only imagine what surprises life has to offer me months, years from now. I am all smiles
