Hello, The title of post is Day 1,. the reason i named it that is becasue i'm going to Dr. Shrikanth's seminar tonite, i believe i will be meeting my surgeon. I've actually been reasearching surgery options since 2001, I came to the conclusion in 2005 that the DS was the right option for me., i just coildnt seem to get off the fence. I have fallen off the fence and havent gotten back on it. Its been almost 4 weeks that i made my mind up, dont get me wrong, i;m as nervous and scared as i can be.
I will write more about my experience with Dr S toinite when i get home. I have already filled out the paper work, IE: Medical history papers that sucker was 11 pages long......My best friend Dawne is going with me, she had the LAPBAND almost 2 years ago, she didnt check into other options at the time, i really tired to get her too but she had her mind made up, now she wants to hear about other options.
