Whoa Hoa I am Banded!

Surgery was yesterday and everything went fine! Dr. said my liver was in "prestine" condition for the surgery. I did vomit a few times after surgery but the nurse said that was more than likely an effect from the anesthesia. I am a little more sore today than yesterday but the gas in my chest has mostly went away Thank God! They weren't kidding when they said it would damn near feel like you were having a heart attack. But I walked as much as I possibly could yesterday and it seemed to have made a difference. Looks like I will be calling my sofa chair & ottoman bed for the next few days, it's rather unbearable to try and lay flat on my back. I get to move on to pureed foods today so looking forward to my bowl of tomato soup & applesauce for dinner. I plan to stick to a protein shake for breakfast & lunch for a while then whatever I am allowed for dinner.
