When I went back for my second visit he was very up beat and praised me for my weight loss, 9lbs in one month. His staff is great. They are friendly and helpful. He has no sence of humor. And he is skinny, lol. I don't know about after care yet. He explained the risks and answered all my questions. I had a long list.I would rate him as very professional and competent. Competence is far more important to me than bed side manner. I have plenty of friends so I don't expect him to be my best buddy. I just want him to do what he knows best. Some doctors make an obese person feel like it is our fault we have health problems and shouldn't bother them until we lose weight. Some even make you feel dirty or repulsive. I never got that vibe from dr. Sooriash.rnI now have a new surgeon to add. Dr Yasrebi. I had to have a revision and Dr. Sooriash is no longer in the area. rnDr Yasrebi was my first choice because he did my gall bladder and a tummy tuck over 20 years ago. I couldn't use him for the original WLS because Aetna didn't cover him at the time.rnHe is simply the greatest. He called every night for 2 weeks after my surgery. He treats each patient like they are his main priority and follows up with you for the rest of your life. "
