Well this is my first official blog
Kind of scary. Today is my first visit with Dr. Maynard. I met him about 5 years ago when I thought I was ready to have surgery previously. Although, I am really excited, I still have some fear and apprehensive
. I have done A LOT of research over the years. I know I want to be healthy and lose the weight. I also know I can lose the weight another way by simply dieting, the only thing I can not do is keep it off. From what I have read the DS will help me with my metabolism as well. That's what I need. I finally told a couple of Friends from work who I felt would give me some support and love I will need. My friend Kimberly offered to attend my first meeting with the doctor, without hesitation. I am so Thankful to Jehovah for Kimberly, my family and friends.
