I used to LOVE that Inxs song!

I'm starting to think about my "new" life. I'm starting to "see" and understand how my life will be after "the surgery". There is going to be some UPSET folks!

There will be some people who think I'm "changing" due to the surgery.

NO!

I'm "changing" because I am STARTING a new life!

No longer will I put other people, their feelings, and lack of boundaries ahead of myself. That's NOT "the surgery" that's Fontella, who's 45 years old and taking COMPLETE control of HER LIFE!  I decided this a few months ago. When I got sick in September, things started to unveil and it has made it easy for me to understand that very few people take me under consideration.

With that said, life is going to be about ME! It must be about me because if i don't my life will never be about me. Everyone else can self-fish and now its my turn.

I can't believe it!

After almost 10 years... I have a surgery date!
It only took 7 days to get approval!

Now I'm scared.

This is no longer a dream, a wish, or a "one day"....This is coming to pass. I have spent the last month going to support groups, group therapy, dietitians, as well as individual therapy and I have found out a lot about ME!

I have to work hard to make this work for life.
