"I was very pleased with Dr. Fernandez as a surgeon and his bedside manner is wonderful. He is very hands on and always was the one that took off my compression garment, removed the bandages and redressed them when he was done. Then he would help put the compression garment back on me. My back insicion opened and he did a second surgery on me two days after the first one free of charge since we were cash pay. His staff was very excited about my surgery and post op progress and always knew exactly who I was when I phoned there for appointments or with concerns. "
"Met with Dr. Mc Daniel yesterday for my consult. He was very nice, laid back and easy to talk to. He addressed my concerns about leaking and blood clots since I'd had previous varicose surgery and didn't know if that would put me more at risk. He said that he takes extra care to make sure there are no leaks in the pouch and explained how he does that. After talking to him I felt very confident that I'd chosen the right surgeon. His staff was all very nice. Ron his PA was great and explained the procedure and answered any questions I had. I had been spending so much time on this web site reading about these people that I felt like I knew them before I met them. I feel fortunate the I found the program at Citizen's Bariatric Center in Victoria, TX and I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Mc Daniel doing my surgery."
