"Dr. C. Daniel Smith at Emory University. He is a GI surgery specialist and does obesity surgery laproscopically and open. I work for Emory..so I e-mailed him and asked if he does revisions and he replied and was very informative and told me to make an appointment. He comes highly recommended from the doctors I work with........so I am anxiously awaiting my first appointment.
7/13 - I met with Dr. Smith and he was wonderful. His secretary was great. He explained the procedure and all the "hoops" I need to jump through. I need a letter from my PCP (I gave it to him on first appt), a diet and weight history (I gave it to him on my first appt.), a psyche eval and a nutritionist appt. He is very personable and told me even though I am a revision, he will try the lap and convert to open if necessary. "
