Hello,
It's been awhile but I felt the need to post regarding a health issue that has haunted me for the past year.  About one year ago, 2 years post RNY, I was having severe abdominal pain.  After an endoscopy I found out I had ulcers.  So I know take protonix. In April of 2012 I started having severe pain again.  Since I have an HMO I had to go to my primary to request the visit to the GI doctor. Then finally two weeks later received authorization to go to the GI doctor. From there took until today July 7 to get another endoscopy and possible biopsy of ulcer.  Well I was informed I no longer had ulcers and if I continued with the abdominal pain to go to the ER and get a CT scan with contrast.  So I immediately did so.  Again nothing, nothing abnormal in my abdomen.  I am in continuous pain and cannot figure out what is going on.  Anyone else have this issue.  I do not know where to seek help next. 

I tried Monavie RVl protein, that stuff even taste good with water, which has never been the case with any other proteins. The protein cost 89.00 but so worth it. Okay so today I started my liquid diet and everything has been okay until I made dinner for the hubby and kids and I am actually a little depressed that I cannot eat. I feel like cheating and taking a bite. Would that ruin everything?  

On April 30, 2009 my Dr.'s office called and stated they were going to send request for authorization to my insurance.
Just today May 5, 2009 I received a call from Dr.'s office stating my insurance approved the gastric bypass and set a date for May 29th, 2009. I have to start my liquid diet on May 15, 2009. Just in awe right now.
