"My consultation with Dr. A is on May 21 so I have not met Dr. A yet but when I get back I will update you... I have been emailing Rosella a lot and she is prompt to answer all of my questions with in 24 hours, she has been kind and courteous in all of her emails. COPIED FROM 5/21 IN MY PROFILE - Today I visited Dr. A for my consultation and to check out the hospital. I am pretty familiar with Ensenada because we live in Southern California about a 2 hour drive so we can cross the border very easily and enjoy the Coast of Baja so we like to visit pretty often. Once we got to Ensenada it was difficult to find DR. A’s office because I guess they do not believe in street signs because there are not many….we had to figure out that the street numbers are on the sides of the buildings, we went up and down the street about 8 times and I just happened to see a small sign behind a bush with his name on it, luckily we left early just in case I could not find it and did not want to be late. We went in and there was a receptionist that did not speak English but she did understand 12:30 appointment, we were there at 12:00 so we sat and waited, I was extremely nervous so it felt like hours. Once the Dr. arrived he was very kind and seemed very happy to meet me…Rosella, arrived 10 minutes later OH MY GOSH! She was so happy, cheerful; bubbly…it seems she is just so excited to see you that she is going to jump out of her skin any second. WHAT A WONDERFUL PERSON!!!! She is so happy and excited, it is very had to describe her…you have to meet her! Dr. A sat down at his desk as we sat with him. He described the different ways that the surgery can be done and why he does it the way he does it, he literally drew it all out on paper for me. I felt more comfortable with the way he does it because it is reinforced…stomach organ once separated is stapled and stitched rather then just stapled like some other doctors do it. He explained how pre-op and surgery day will go and Rosella then took us on a tour of the hospital. When we got to the hospital I was a little startled by it being so small, when we walked though the whole hospital and she explained that they only do certain types of operation here, which explained why it was so small, I felt much better about it. The hospital was painted all white inside and was very clean and organized….when the tour was over I had no complaints, I was very happy with it. "
