knocking these requirements out!

 Hello all-

So on Wednesday, 4/18/2012 I went to my initial consultation.  I was lucky to be able to schedule my psychosocial evaluation just two days later, Friday, 4/20/2012 !  On the same day I was also lucky to attend one of the support grous as they only have then every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. (God is just lining these events up for me!).

So the actual update is that I went to my consultation on Friday and answered a 250+ true or false questionare! From what I gather, they want to make sure you are not depressed; thankfully, I am far from it!  After that, I met with the psychologist and had a great chat with her while I answered another 30(ish) questions.  Before I left she let me know that she was going to recommend, to the the surgeon, that I continue the WLS process. YAY!  I am SO happy!

As far as I know, I have completed my first set of requirements before my documentation gets submitted to my health insurance.  I am eager and anxious to know how long the pre-approval process will take.  I assume that affter it gets approved, I will be given a surgery date.  Well see what happens.

Starting weight: 249lbs
Goal weight: 130lbs
