2 weeks shy of my 1 year surgery date, down 150 pounds!!!

Jul 13, 2009

Goes out to my surgeon, Dr. Strodel, Dr. Still, Shannon, and all the other, nurses, nutrienist, counslers, all who had a part in the last two years.  Having gastric bypass was the best decision I have ever made.
I am a lucky one I have not had any problems(knock on wood) I have lost 150 pounds so far.  I don't have tons on hanging skin , but, would love to have some removed and tightened.  I am waiting word from my surgeon , apparently my pouch tried to regrow to my old stomach.  I would no doubt about it do the same thing and have the surgery , I have told my friends they should check it out. My younger brother just saw a doctor and is starting classes soon.
I am able to do things again and feel and look so much healthier.  All my medical problems have not went away. Ole arthur still hangs around.  I was able to go to my daughters college and walk around and see where she will be living and going to school for the next 4 years.  I will end this by saying thanks to everyone who had a part in the past year on OH who have helped me or just been a friend sitting quietly by watching the new me in progress. thanks for everything.  your all angels in my eyes.
God bless
Wendy
