"Dr. Shikora is the Head of Surgery at Tufts Obesity Consult Center. He is very professional and experienced. The program at Tufts in one of the best. They have an integrated pre and post operative program that participants must attend. This includes attending support groups, seeing a psychologist, exercise physiologist, physician, nutritionist, etc. They stress follow-up for long-term success. Dr. Shikora is personable, but not overly warm. For me, I wanted the best surgeon even if he didn't offer a lot of warm fuzzies. Everything went very well and I would recommend Dr. Shikora to anyone looking at bariatric surgery."
"I had a very good experience. Most of the staff were professional and helpful. The facilities were fine. I had a private room and plenty of privacy. As with any hospital...the bed was very uncomfortable."
