So I got one the scale last night and I started to cry!! I was down 27 lbs since my surgery on May 20!!!! I feel wonderful, and so happy how things are going! I even tried on a pair of 16 jeans still a little tight couldn't really breath, but it felt wonderful to at least pull them on!!!!

So on Wed May 20, 2009 my life changed...I got my VGS done, the moment I go out of recovery I was very concerned because my nausea was so bad they had a hard time getting it controlled... I had the worst night of my life with the nausea and the pain, They next morning came around and I was doing a lot better but the gas bubbles were horrible they still are I can't take a sip of anything with out gas bubbles. I'm now home and doing good I'm still a little sore and still have gas bubbles like crazy!! I still really don't feel different ( I don't Know maybe that is normal).

A Start To A New Beginning!!

So I just wanted to share what I did today because I'm kind of proud of myself!! Keeping in mind that for the past several years I have not exercised or ate right. I totally watched what I ate and drank 84 oz of water. At lunch if the freezing 48 degree weather walked by myself a half mile!! I was so excited after work I went and got the Dancing With The Stars workout video....and came home and work out for 20 mins. (That was enough for tonight, I was sweating by butt off). WOW!!! I feel good!

I went today and meet with Dr. Broussard.(He's way cool!!!) It sounds very promising that I will get to have WLS by the middle of May if everything goes good. Like having to loose 14 lbs., good lab results and EKG, meet with the dietitian, psych and exercise!! Wow this is really happening and I can't wait!!!!!

Well Ive made my decision I'm going to do the VSG!! I meet with Dr. Broussard on Tuesday, and very excited. I'm ready to get going and get the ball rolling. I have talked it over with my family and friend and they are very very supportive! I'm READY and READY now I can't wait for my life to start!
