So in January I saw Dr. Hagen for the first time. It's time to change my life. It has been such a roller coaster since then. I have been to the classes, seen the nutritionist, social worker, psychiatrist and soon to see Dr. Glazier, an internalist who will check my heart and lungs before surgery. I finally have my surgery date which is August 24th, 2010. I have a bit of a challenge before then. Dr. Hagen would like me to try and lose 60lbs before surgery. I have to be on Optifast for 5 weeks before surgery and Dr.Hagen said I will lose at least 30lbs with that. So I have to try and lose 30lbs on my own. Soooo it's a hard journey but I am getting there!
