Hi all,
I am looking into getting the vertical sleeve done and I am still in the beginning stages......went to my doctor and got a referal to a civilian hospital but have not been called in yet.......then i find out that TRICARE doesn't cover  if u dont have Tricare Prime.....so I went and changed my insurance to Tricare Prime.....so on May 1st I will have Prime and can go to the Military hospital to get it done....After the 1st, i can call the biatric section and get some appointments made so i can get this on the road.....anxious and  a little scared lol
My daughter who is on here also (Babynesh05) has been doing very well with her surgery and that kind of got me started going on this journey......before this i was doing the HCG diet and had some success but kept falling off the wagon, my mom on the other hand lost 20 pounds and has kept it off...go figure lol
Currently i am 226 pounds on a 5.3 frame and i got most of my weight gain from when i got sick 10 years ago. Not long after coming to Texas I was diagnosed with asthma ( i had an attack) and had to be put on prednisone 60mg a day for almost a year........thats when i packed on the pounds and have never been able to get rid of it......seems like every year i just add more weight and if i dont do something soon,  i will be in the 3-500 pound range in the next few years or dead in the ground.....
so i am hoping this life style change with surgery will be beneficial for me....
well as soon as things get moving on my end, i will update my page.....like i had said im in the beginning stages
