1 week post-op today!!!

So it's been 7 days since I was sleeved. I have lost around 16# since I came home from hospital on Friday, and a total of 32# since the pro-op diet.!!! Woo Hoo!! My stomache itches inside like crazy sometimes... but my pain gets less each day... still having problems getting in all my water and protein... an strangely enough I still get hungry... but it will be worth the results. I saw a post on someone elses profile or something that said simply "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" ... I'd like to discover that for myself...

So my journey began about a year ago... I had my first consultation with Dr Robert Shin in September of 2009.
I began the process of approvals and evalutions needed for insurance approval.
In October of 2009 my mother passed away suddenly and I lost focus on the weight loss surgery goal for a while.
In January 2010 I got back on track with my evaluations etc and on July 27th I had my last appointment with Dr. Shin before the insurance sumission for approval.
Today I am waiting to hear some good news (fingers crossed).
I want this surgery more than I have ever wanted anything in my entire life.
