I never asked the doctor this question. Does your skin shrink enough or do you have to have plastic surgery to get rid of it? How much does exercise help in getting rid of flab?  What do your boobies look like after you lose the wait? Do I have to wear a girdle or spanx? Why didnt I ask?

I have been on the all protein drink for 4 days now and I have 5 more days to go. I am hungry, tired, weak and sick to my stomach. Is this normal? I will not put any food in my mouth for fear they will not do the surgery. But this is hard on my body and my mind.  It is my own fault because I was suppose to lose at least 15 lbs before the surgery and only lost 1 lb. So now I have to pay the piper. Well I bet I will listen from here on out to everything I am told.  If Doc tells you do do something then you better do it.

I am only allowed protein drinks until my surgery. I am drinking Trader Joe's  vanilla powder.  I need something that doesnt taste like chalk. It is affordable and I like that.  I heard about Click, it sounds fine although it does have more caffeine than the vitamins and minerals that I will need.  I live near, GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

Any Suggestions?

Hello Everyone,

 Went to Dr.Teng's today for consult/consent meeting.  Took along hubby for support. Very informative meeting. I now get to drink four protein shakes a day and one salad, no dressing for the next 8 days.  Yum. Looking forward to having the surgery part over and getting the healthly living on track. I know it will take some time and wont be easy but it's all a new learning process for me and I am ready for it. We meet a nice husband and wife who both are having the lap band together.  He is excited and she is scared. but I think they will do well because they will know what the other is experiencing. I love the office staff at Dr. Tengs. Tina is a sweetheart and so is Crystal. I made a great choice in a Doctor to do my surgery.  So now it just getting the last minute things taken care of before next Thursday.  Thank you all for your support.
