OMG!  I am Fat!

I used to never be this way.  I gre up playing sports.  I joined the Army out of high school and always worked out.  I guess what I am trying to say is that I have always been in shape.  The day I left the military I was a chisled 6'2 and 215lbs.

That was also that last day I can remember my body.  I stopped working out.  I eventually went through a divorce and within a year of leaving the military I was 285lbs.  For the next 5 years I tried various diets and different workouts.  I had various successes and sadly, mostly failures.  I once got down to 245lbs but within a year I was back up again.  I gave up working at losing weigfht 2 years ago.  I was fighting a battle I was always going to lose.  I am now at 38yrs old about 320lbs and growing.

About a year ago I began to seriously consider WLS options.      Considering I have kids, I have opted to have a lap-band.

I am nervous and anxious to get my body back.
