I had my surgery on May 15th 2006 at the NY Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell w/ Dr. Michel Gagner. Dr. Pomp and Dr. Dakin were also participants. I was 352.5 lbs the day of surgery. I've lost over 150 lbs and thank God that I had the DS. It's not always easy but the Pros FAR OUTWEIGH (pun intended!) the Cons!
