Ok Let's see how this goes
Mar 29, 2009
So I went to the doctor last Monday and I had previously emailed her about my frustrations. When I got to her office she told me to start doing light weights and more walking/jogging in order to boost up my metabolism. I also sat with the nutritionist who gave me a new 14 day diet. The diet looks good to me. I started today and so far I'm extremely full from breakfast (half an english muffin [light multigrain] with scrambled eggs [1 whole, 1 white], and 1 slice of melted low fat cheese]. Breakfast is hard for me though. I have to wait like 2 hours after I wake up and am moving around. Anyway, I went shopping yesterday and bought some new veggies and lots of whole grains, greek yogurt, lean meats. Funny how eating healthy can be a lot more expensive. However, I know it'll be worth it. The diet consists of 3 meals totaling anywhere from 700 to 900 calories. To me thats too little since I workout. So I'm making it up with fruits in between and a light snack and some coffee made lite. So I'll be consuming between 1200-1300 calories a day. I went up to 209lb when I visited my doctor on Monday. 1 week later, today, I went back down to 205lbs. So I'm hoping this new low glycemic, low calorie, low carb diet will put me where I know I should be. I'll be in touch.
