Hi! My name is Vicki. I am 37 years old and from Kentucky. I am a mom to one little mischevious 4 year old named Hailey. I work full time as a Engineer Assistant in a wiring harness facility. I have been married to my husband for 20 years, his name is Steve.
I started the process for WLS back in March 2008 and had my surgery in September of 2008. As I'm writing this I'm currently 2 months out and down 50 pounds from my highest weight. All thru my High School years I stayed at a weight of 150 pounds. When I hit 18 I gained 100 pounds in a year and each year some would come off with all the crazy diets I tried but neverless I would always gain it back with a couple friends of thiers hitchhiking its way with them. At my heaviest I weighed in at a whopping 299 pounds and vowed I would not see 300. I knew that I could not do this on my own and started searching for something to help me win this battle once and for all.
I have a ways to go, but I know that I will get there. Dr. David Dyer and his staff has been astronomical in helping to start to achieve this. I look forward to the journey.
